Another point for a chlorine-based pool… those with plants surrounding the pool should be warned that salt water-based pools can absorb the nutrients in the dirt and soil surrounding it, damaging or kill plants. However, not having to deal with balancing the chlorine levels or even handling a corrosive chemical like chlorine is another plus for the salt water pool.
